Secretary of Privatization Responds To Alabama-Coushatta Situation

Secretary of Privatization Ed Brannum recently responded to a letter concerning the recent situation on the Alabama-Coushatta reservation. In a Vichy-like move, the State of Texas moved to close down the casino on the reservation in direct violation of the sovereignty promised to these indigenous peoples on their own land. This move by the State of Texas destroyed the best means for these economically oppressed people to increase their standard of living.

Secretary Brannum's letter addresses the situation in a way that best represents the feelings of the people and government of the Republic of Texas. Here is the letter:

---------------------------------

These Indians arrived in the Land of Texas in 1805. The Republic of Texas Congress gave them Land in 1840 with Sam Houston's blessings because they helped him stop Santa Anna when Houston was retreating. Then white settlers moved in and took most of their Land. They have been in the welfare line mostly since the 1960s and finally in the year 2000 where able to get an agreement from the US Government to allow them to place a Casino on their Land and allow them to survive on their own labors.

John Cornyn The ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR TEXAS though was not receiving any money from this venture but has received money from the Casinos syndicate in Louisiana for his Campaign against Phil Gramm. These sovereign people were stopping allot of money from leaving Texas going to Louisiana. Therefore JOHN CORYNYN being the nice guy he is and loves money he has shut these people's only livelihood down and will force most of them back into poverty and on welfare.

There was a loss of 370 jobs at midnight last night. These were not all Indian employees. There were vendors, security and many more affected around the local area by this loss. The Indians though in being the good Christian people they are have put back enough money to pay all salaries and cover all insurance for the employees for three months and part of the proceeds from yesterdays take was going to go to the ENRON employees fund. The money from the Casino was mainly being used for infrastructure of the Reservation such as Water, sewage and a health facility. It is another case of Broken Promises from the Government that want these people to lose everything they have worked for the last year in order to make them slaves on welfare once more and so once again the Lawyers will end up with all the remaining spoils after 90 days.

By the way the ATTORNEY GENERAL shut them down because Gambling is not allowed in THE STATE OF TEXAS. LOTTO, HORSE RACING, DOG RACING, BINGO to him is not Gambling. Its only Gambling if he is not collecting his protection money.

I and others on the RT Council do not take any position as for as Gambling. That is each individuals choice and is really none of our business. We do though stand beside any sovereign people that are having their freedoms and their sovereignty trampled on especially by a Fraudulent Franchised Government Corporation as is THE STATE OF TEXAS and JOHN CORNYN d.b.a. ATTORNEY GENERAL.

Please ask if you have any further questions are I haven't answered something to your satisfaction.

"Governor, if I had foreseen the use those people (the U.S.) designed to make of their victory, there would have been no surrender at Appomattox Courthouse; no sir, not by me. Had I foreseen these results of subjugation, I would have preferred to die at Appomattox with my brave men, my sword in this right hand."
