NWO Politician Lectures in Nicosia, Cyprus

Headline:
Israeli politician speaks with forked tongue as he pushes NWO philosophy

The following is excerpted from a story in the Cyprus Weekly issue dated April 27 to May 3, 2001 covering a lecture by Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres given recently in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.

'Shimon Peres came through during his public lecture as a man with a vision of a new united world, with no borders, no sovereignty, no flags, where everyone would live in peace in a globalised society based on scientific advance and universally applied technology for the good of the people as a whole. He spoke about 'Process to the future: Challenges and prospect'. In his lecture he explained that in the past wars were fought over land, because rulers believed that 'the more land they had, the better their future would be for land and water was the key to success and strength, and hope.' This changed when people discovered was something 'richer and more promising, and that was science and technology. Today it is not how much land you have, but how much talent you have.'

It could have been pointed to Peres that the current strife between the Israelis and the Palestinians is primarily over land, with the Israelis insisting on holding onto as much land as possible, even though they are technically far more advanced than the Palestinians. Peres however, avoided referring to the Israeli-Palestinian problem in his lecture. But in expounding on his theme of change he spoke in general terms of doing away with borders and sovereignty as the world becomes more globalised.

The Israeli leader stressed that the major change in the world today is that the world is no longer divided between the haves and the have nots. The world is divided between those who are connected to modern technology and those who are not, the people who are connected by a modern economy and the people who disconnected from the potential of the new promise and remain engaged in the old- fashioned economy of feudalism, of agrarian approach, of borders, of sovereignty. 'And with these they keep their people backward and without a future. For today the world is no longer connected by sea or by land, the world is connected by air - the satellite, the computer, television.

They connect us and in the air you do not have geography, you do not have history, you do not have sovereignty, you do not flags; it doesn’t have all the indications that made human history such a problem.' Peres advised his Cypriot audience to take full advantage of the move toward 'the Europeisation of the island in the heart of the Mediterranean. Modernisation and Europesation will change everything,' he said. He heaped praise on Jean Monet, the architect of the European Union.

The idea to organise Europe economically and to do away with the terrible wars that plagues the 20th century 'was the most brilliant idea Europe ever had,' he said. In separate meetings with the press, he spoke of the need for the 'Europeisation of the Middle East,-- that is the doing away of borders and moving toward a union based on common ideals and principles. Asked why Israel doesn’t stop shooting at the stone-throwing children, and why he is still in a government that kills children, Peres replied calmly that 'Israel doesn’t have to stop shooting because it didn’t start shooting. Israel only started shooting when shooting (by the other side) started. I am also telling parents, don’t send your children to throw stones, or throw stones yourselves, keep your children home.'
