The Green Party Political Association of B.C. (B.C. Greens), a self-serving environmental political party who do not believe in free speech, imploded this weekend.

With a bang, Stuart Parker 30, a leader of the party for six of nine years, left a meeting “crying” as he was unceremoniously turfed on Sunday, March 19, 200, as reported today in the Province (Vancouver Province).

In a totally unrelated matter, David Icke spoke to a packed house at the Vogue theatre on the same day. Promised demonstrations, in part sponsored by the B.C. Greens, did not materialize - oh, were they spending two days ripping themselves apart?

The B.C. Greens are largely viewed as castoffs from the New Democratic Party (NDP), Canada’s “left wing” party. The NDP, whose roots are derived from the union movement, has decimated British Columbia with one corruption scandal after another. B.C. boasts 3 ferries, built by taxpayer money in B.C., that don't work and which will be sold for scrap. Cost to taxpayers: approaching a billion dollars.

When the NDP took power in Ontario in 1989, in what was the most amazing election in Canada’s history, they actually cancelled union bargaining contracts and rammed new contracts down the unions throats - to the absolute horror of the union movement. Last election, the union movement supported the Liberal Party of Ontario!

Bob Rae was leader of the NDP in Ontario when they surprised everyone and took power. Bob Rae is a Bay Street lawyer; a RHODES SCHOLAR and his brother is married to a daughter of Paul Demarias, one of the richest men in Canada. Rae’s brother is a top aide to Jean Chretien, Prime Minister of Canada.

Back to the “Green Party.” The belief in B.C. is that this provincial party houses disillusioned members of the NDP. They are environmentalists and feminists and other assorted concerned citizens. Here, the party is, in effect, perceived as a repository of castoffs and rejects from the NDP. The coup members, interestingly, are believed to be NDP moles.

What do Canadian Greens stand for? Look at their web site, (http://green.ca) or lack of it, and you will find the following nuggets:

- APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) could fall prey to control by corporations! (June 11, 1997) I guess they have NOT READ David Icke, otherwise they might be more informed.

- Earth Day is great. Earth Day, for the misinformed, has been taken over totally by corporations to tout their “greenness” and does nothing for the environment. Most environmentalists now ignore Earth Day - but not the “Green Party.”

The Green Party must be doing fabulously in Canada and fundraising must be at all time highs. Some pages on their site have not been updated for several years. Their last newsletter was in 1997 and their news page complains of harassment by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, who apparently believe the Greens are a threat to Canada’s security.

How fabulous are they doing in B.C.? They have the support, apparently, of 9% of the people (misinformed surely!) of B.C. This is a province, remember, that spun Greenpeace and is the most environmentally aware province in the British Commonwealth. Obviously their message has not gotten out and now, the poor souls have been purged, to make room for NDP loyalists.

Good bye B.C. Greens - this putsch, in effect, neuters them in B.C. Their supporters (supporter) will go back to the NDP. It doesn't get any better than this, folks.

Finally, is it not interesting that a political party, that purports to be the democratic conscious of the people, would try to get David Icke banned from speaking in Canada?
