This could shed some light on the big picture:

Yesterday, on the May 28 at noon, during the latest part of Sunday's Mass, healthy-looking and confident Pope John Paul II slowly traversed St. Peter's Square riding in his Popemobile, dispensing his blessings to the crowd. This time his Popemobile was not fitted with the bullet-proof plexiglass shield, as was the case since the attempted assassination on him at the same Square, 19 years ago.

As, on the May 19th, we were told by Cardinal Ratzinger in Italian newspaper La Repubblica interview that the Secret will be published "at the latest" by mid-June (after the 76/P comet Mars fly-by consequences are known), this new Pope behavior could be a sign of his believe that he have obtained his most important goals, as was explained by cardinal Sodano in his brief announcement of the release of the Third Fatima Secret earlier this month.

The final thanks-giving ceremonies concerning the Fatima Prophecy shall be kept in Vatican next October, on the date of the last Fatima apparition, where the statue of Lady of Fatima shall be temporally transferred and stored in Pope's private chapel.

Of course, from all this could also seem that, at this stage, there is nothing more that could be done. I see that Tesla shields in US are still up.
