We have got a mainstream media who works hand in glove with the government, a media which has become nothing more tha obsequious hand and foot maidens to one of the most pervasively corrupt administrations this country has ever known.
Instead of an ever vigilant, questioning and confrontational free press being the nosy eyes and ears of the public, we've got a willing murderers' accomplice pretending to be independent and objective.
There is nothing more damaging to a free society than when the major media outlets have become little more than propaganda and disinformation tools solely controlled by the governing elite - the same elite it's supposed to police.
The first casualty of war is the truth, the same cam be said for the politically controlled media. Nothing proves this statement better than the lies this nation was getting about NATO's war on Yugoslavia. the information you are getting through television and the major press is manipulated in whatever way the oligarchy wants it portrayed. What you get is a nation of dumbed down citizens, and that is exactly what they want.
The mainstream media's non-reporting in Oklahoma bombing casie is by no means and aberration - it's the norm. After having happily gorged themselves at the government's trough of swill, the media then march out and propagate the government's manistream media lies to you and I, John Q. Public. Most of them are selling the government's sophistry with equal ignorance.
To the consternation of the government/mainstream media, in the absence of any semblance of truth, millions of people. the world over, are turning to the internet for alternative news sources. The internet is a completely open forum, and because nobdy knows if you are young or old, rich or poor, fat or thin, black or white, blue or purple, you are judged on what you say, your ideas, your opinions, etc.
The internet is unparalleled as a research tool if you have the tenacity and the patience. The government and mainstream media FEAR it and the freedom people enjoy on it. They would like nothing better than to be able to censor, control, and police it. They use demagoguery and sophistry to inflame the public, ranting about supposed pedophiles lurking behind every website, waiting to prey on your kids: We must censure this new and very dangerous technology, to help protect your kids...it's for the kids.." they say.
After the last two years of the Klinton sexcapades, reading Trance-Formation of America, and watching "The Mother Goddess Video", I am more afraid of my kids being attacked and abused by these government pedophiles. The last thing I want is Janet Reno, the BATF and the FBI ending child abuse by killing the children as they did in Waco.
The media, at the beckoning of the government, continually repeat ad nauseum, the goverment's demand to end yet another of our rights and freedoms, in order to brainwash us into believing the government's lies.
