Dear Mr. Gibson

I watched your program last week when you had the "control freaks" on who desire to have the DNA of all Americans. Of course one was a former attorney general. What got me was how he said "the government DNA data base would be protected by law." I would have liked to have told him back during the 30s when congress passed social security they would only do so with a law attached (section 208 42 U.S.C.408) paragraph 8, which says, "Whoever discloses, uses, or compels the disclosure of the Social Security number of a person in violation of the laws of the United States shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, or imprisoned for not more than five years or both." The congressman of the 30s refused to pass this social program for fear we would someday all become a number. Social Security cards until sometime in the 60s were all stamped " Not For Identification Purposes."

As all Americans know, we are now a number. And we find history is again repeating itself they are telling us we will protect your DNA with "laws." No one had much to say when they started taking DNA from "convicted" felons so now we move to the next step, anyone arrested without any due process, which leaves them one step more to come for the rest of us. And I assure you they will, and make babies give it up at birth, just as they are now numbered at birth. The next generation will never know what it was like to have freedom and not be tracked and put into data bases and have your every move under government suveillance. What is coming is not just collection of a paper record, but of blood, and sperm.

Right now in congress we have the Kennedy - Kassebaum " Health insurance portability and accountability act" It finds that the public's ( the government's) "need" to medical records outweighs the patient's "right" to all confidentiality which is therefore not a right at all). In a dramatic extension of its powers, the Medicare-governing health care financing adminstration, or HCFA, is requiring all home health-care recipients to submit to collection of 19 pages of information on their personal lives, including patient history, living arrangements, finances, psychological profiles and everything from sexual behavior to use of profanity. This information would be made available to any health or life insurer, "health oversight agency," employee welfare benefits plan, law enforcement agency, or health or life insurer.

No one would be allowed to buy insurance or obtain medical service without signing "consent" to the disclosure of personal medical information. As all of these intrusions of an "Orwellian" government under this administration are taking place we Americans hear very little about our secrets going to China. They can keep track of millions of Americans and the one place they should be watching they fail, I find that strange as hell. The President got caught with his DNA and now he thinks it's a good idea to have ours. Don't get me wrong all convicted felons and sex offenders such as him should have their DNA on file and be made to sign up at the local police station and he should set this example.

All congressman and senators should also be monitored and be the first to give up their DNA and banking habits, and sexual habits, and use of tobacco, and alcohol. They should be made to fill out a 19 page form with all of this information for the public. After all we pay their salary and trust them with our money and very lives. It is time for us to demand twice the control over them as they demand we submit to.

Let's test all of these intrusions on them first, to see how well they work. Funny how they are the first to scream about their "private lives" when caught with their pants down, in government offices, on government time, with other government employes. Adultery becomes consensual sex, consensual sex becomes not sex at all, and then it becomes no ones business. Well that's my point our life is none of their business. Law abiding citizens should not be in government data banks, and should not be told how to live by the government or monitored by the government. And if they insist that banks report to them on your banking it may be time to take your money out of the bank, only you can stop this . If a few million people do this they will stop this practice real fast. And if the media would stop kissing up to these tyrants who are using the same methods Hitler used to grab power in Germany it may not be too late to stop this onslaught of our rights.
