FOLLOW UP TO "BILL AND BEN THE FLOWERPOT MEN
LEADING HUMANITY UP THE GARDEN PATH"
by Jacqueline Maria Longstaff

On the 1st. of November 1999 I received an Email from someone named Daniel. He was responding to a "Bill and Ben" article I had written.

Here is the Email message from Daniel - just exactly as he wrote it:

"Jacqueline,

I think I can help you with a further "Bill and Ben" connection. In January 1997, there was an interview with David Bowie broadcast on ITV (late night.) The interviewer asked him at one point about the connection between the recurrent alien themes of his work and the fashionability of alien motifs then (1997) in the media etc. Bowie, as he has on other occasions deflected the question by saying more-or-less that he really only uses alien themes as a metaphor. However, at the close of the programme he quoted from Bill and Ben - the line about thinking that the house knows something - as a way of getting across that his answer to that "alien" question had not been exactly "straight".

Bowie's cousin is quoted as saying that when David was a child everything stopped for "The Quarttermass Experiment" and "Bill and Ben".

To reinforce that this is not an irrelevant link - in the early 1980's, Bowie starred as Baal in a major BBC TV production.

Check out the lyrics of his 1972 song "The Jean Genie." Bye, Daniel."

After receiving this Email I did wonder if I should pass it on to David Icke, but as I knew David was busy and wasn't really sure of the significance of the message I decided to wait. Later that evening I was reading the Daily Mail newspaper and came across Jonathon Cainer's Astrology section. Jonathon Cainer's a very good astrologer and my experience of him is that his forecasts for the day are usually pretty accurate. I am a Libran and what was written for Libra that day really caught my attention - it was something about Librans having a piece of information which they were holding on to because of not wanting to be a nuisance to someone else. It was written that it was important to pass this information on - important not for one's own sake but for the sake of many others. I then felt I should pass the information on to David Icke.

Not really being a David Bowie fan, I didn't know the song "The Jean Genie" and asked a few people if they knew the words so I could include them in an Email to David Icke. No-one I spoke to knew the words so early next day I just decided to send the Email to David as it was. I went to turn off the radio and just as I almost had my hand on the switch I heard the disc jockey announce David Bowie with "The Jean Genie"! I was stunned. Here are some of the lyrics as I heard them:

"The Jean Genie lives on his back
Sits like a man but smiles like a reptile,
He's outrageous he screams and he bawls
With the Jean Genie let yourself go."

When I tuned in to this happening what came to me was the word "triggers". However, as yet I have no conclusion to this strange sequence of events - perhaps you have? If so please let me know.
