Bonded Labor, Bonded Country
By: Ali Ashraf Khan

The United States is supposed to be the greatest champion of democracy and the rights of man. The greatest negation of human rights is the bonded labor where human are treated like serfs and slaves and work for the feudal lords who hold them in captivity and they are practically treated like slaves. The institution of slavery has been banned by religions even before the birth of Christianity but the sad part is that in practice it continues even today in one form or the other in 2000 AD. The reason being economic exploitation of Gods creation by the man. This state of affair has existed right from day one as world society entered into the era's of civilization in the form of slavery dwindled so much so that the religious reformers and prophets discouraged it to a large extent. But the law of economic want continue to prevail and so does the bonded labor in the third world countries where man offers his labor for a two meals a day, this is the lowest price that a feudal lord has to pay.

“ Think of a landlord says, Karl Marx, who has all the reaches of the world which God can bestow, but has no labor.” He can not make use of his worldly possessions. This led to the rise of the proletariat; a theory propounded by Karl Marx and freed man from the slavery of man. But human want remains and therefore remains the bonded labor in one form or the other.

Today in Pakistan there are private jails of the Sardars, Vederas, Mirs, Chaudhrys, Shaikhs and Khans. The cultivator of the land of the landlords is bound to cultivate their lands for two meals a day and for a little lapse here and there they are put inside the private jail, the members of the families of these unfortunate laborer work in the homes of the feudal lords, this state of affairs continues even in 2000 AD and probably will continue in 21st Century in Pakistan.

Now let us look at this scenario at the International level where exploitation of a weak nation by a powerful nation also continues, just as the bonded labor is always in debt to the landlord or to the money lender and consequently works on the dictates of his benefactor so is a weaker nation in an International scenario. They are under debt to the mightier west and have to follow the dictates of their moneylenders replacing the landlords of yore.

Today while America is the monopoly holder of Nuclear Arms has the cheek to direct the third world countries who have by dint of labor and prowess have obtained the nuclear capability, to sign CTBT and liquidate their intelligence and power, this is a clear case of bonded subservience to the western lord – a case of inequality of man, if this is the law of nature, this is going to continue in the third millennium and onwards.

The American idea of One World followed by the New World Order is a piece in example of exploitation of nations in the East by the nations in the West. By keeping the third world in bondage to serve the western world just as a bonded labor in Pakistan serves his lord. The equality of man demands that the America apologize to the Japanese for throwing Atom Bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki which has left behind a trail of human misery even today more than half a century later. Albert Einstein a German Jew chased out to United States by Herr Hitler held his head in shock when he handed over his invention – The Atom Bomb to the United States and said “ Oh what I have done ? I would have been better off as a Carpenter or a Blacksmith. “ The British Nation should apologize to Pakistan for drawing the unjust dividing line of partition of the sub-continent in 1947 leaving behind a trail of misery and genocide of Musallmans in Kashmir for the last more then half a century. These so-called civilized western nations enter the fray as traders and merchants and end up as masters. This is how the so-called civilized diplomacy runs.

The British entered into India as traders a couple of hundred years ago and ended as masters to give a parting kick to the Musalmans in 1947. The Americans, the traditional traders and businessman entered into the lend lease agreement with thee Allies during World War II and ended up as the super power on Earth. This is how exploitation of man by man and nation by nation works.

Then there are the bonded nations of Iran, Iraq and Libya whose assets have been frozen by the American Lambardar, while their only fault is that they do not see eye to eye with the American feudal lord. Are they not also an emblem of bonded country? A sauce for the goose is not a sauce for the gander too in American standard.

The Champions of democracy are therefore advised to free the bonded nations and in turn the bonded labor will be freed on its own.

If civilization demands freedom of man, it also demands freedom of nations from the exploitation by the developed countries through financial allurements. The super power should therefore live on its own and let others live on their own. On the other hand the under developed countries would be better advised to forge unity among their own ranks to avoid the suzerainty of their moneylenders otherwise they are doomed to subjugation and be a vassal of the super power.
